Overflowing with Divine Love

 Overflowing with Divine Love

This is a different one, a little personal;

I just wanted to share some thoughts that have been swirling around in my heart lately. It's about the presence of God and how it's not something that's doled out in tiny, measured doses. It's more like this unstoppable force of nature, like a waterfall that just keeps gushing forth after a season of abundant spring rains.

I've had moments where I've felt this incredible outpouring of love and grace. It's like standing beneath a waterfall; you can't escape the flow, it just envelops you in its entirety. That's how God's presence has been for me – overwhelming in the best possible way. It's not just a trickle or a stream, it's a mighty river that pours out of the Father's heart, and it's meant to saturate every part of our being.

When I've allowed myself to just be still and take it all in, it's like my heart becomes a conduit for this divine river. Love, peace, joy – all the good stuff just starts flowing out of me, and it's not something I can contain. It's meant to be shared, to spill over into the lives of others.

Drinking deeply of His love is something I try to remind myself to do daily. There's a rest that comes when you sit, metaphorically speaking, in the shade of His presence. It's a place where the noise of the world fades away, and you can hear the gentle whisper of God speaking delight over you. It's incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating.

In those quiet moments, I've found that God satisfies the deepest longings of my soul. It's not a temporary fix or a fleeting feeling of happiness. It's a deep, abiding satisfaction that anchors you through life's storms. It's knowing that you are loved beyond measure, cared for in the most meticulous way, and that your life has purpose.

So, if you're feeling a bit parched today, if your soul is weary and in need of refreshment, I encourage you to take a moment to drink deeply of His love. Rest in the shade of His presence. Let Him wash over you with His goodness and find your spirit lifted and your inner being refreshed.

There's no rationing here, no careful pours. His love is abundant, and His presence is a sanctuary where we can all find rest and satisfaction for our souls. Drink deeply, my friends, and be refreshed
