Holy Spirit residence: Be kind to yourself

  While the Bible does not explicitly state that the Holy Spirit can only reside in a person who is kind and loving to themselves, there are several passages that suggest that the Holy Spirit is associated with love and kindness. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, it says, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.  Prayer for Freedom in Christ: Claiming the Promised Freedom in the Bible  As a believer in Christ, one of the greatest promises we have is freedom. In Galatians 5:1, it says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
